2021年，廣美-威爾士藝術(shù)與設(shè)計(jì)國(guó)際學(xué)院正式成立，兩校借助此平臺(tái)開展海外藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)術(shù)交流，相互輸送和培養(yǎng)本科、研究生及博士階段人才，共同搭建一個(gè)華南地區(qū)中英藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)培訓(xùn)基地。廣美-威爾士國(guó)際學(xué)院目的是為了切實(shí)地推進(jìn)廣州美術(shù)學(xué)院和英國(guó)高等藝術(shù)學(xué)府的海外合作和國(guó)際化進(jìn)程，并達(dá)到深層次學(xué)術(shù)交流和可持續(xù)性發(fā)展。

UWTSD-GAFA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN was officially established in 2021. The two universities will conduct overseas academic exchanges in art and design through the International College, exchange and jointly cultivate talents from bachelor, master to doctoral levels, to jointly build a Sino-British art design training base in South China. The purpose of the International College is to promote the overseas cooperation and internationalization between GAFA and UWTSD, and to achieve deep academic exchanges and sustainable development.
